How to Create an FAQ Section
An FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Section helps visitors find answers quickly using an accordion-style interface.

FAQ sections reduce support tickets, build trust, and improve SEO. Questions are displayed in a collapsible accordion format - click to expand and see the answer.

Quick Setup
- Add Section: Pages → Your Page → Sections → Add "FAQ Section"
- Add Heading: "Frequently Asked Questions"
- Select FAQs: Choose from existing FAQ documents
- Publish
Step 1: Create FAQ Documents
- Go to Content → FAQs in Sanity Studio
- Click Create New FAQ
- Fill in:
- Question: The question customers ask
- Answer: Clear, helpful answer
- Category (optional): Group related FAQs
- Order: Display sequence
Create 5-10 FAQs covering common questions.
Step 2: Configure Section
Heading
- "Frequently Asked Questions"
- "Common Questions"
- "Got Questions? We've Got Answers"
Description (Optional)
- "Find quick answers to common questions."
- "Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us."
Step 3: Select FAQs
- Click "Add" in FAQs field
- Select 5-15 FAQ documents
- Order by importance (most asked first)
Writing Effective FAQs
Questions
✅ DO:
- Use customer's exact wording
- Start with who/what/when/where/why/how
- Be specific, not vague
- Address real concerns
Example questions:
- "How long does setup take?"
- "What payment methods do you accept?"
- "Can I cancel my subscription anytime?"
- "Do you offer a free trial?"
❌ DON'T:
- Use company jargon
- Make up fake questions
- Be too general
- Avoid tough questions
